BEGINNER

Objective: To develop foundational techniques, rhythm, and basic chord knowledge for comfortable playing.

Learn the anatomy of the guitar and proper posture
Tune the guitar and play basic open chords (C, G, D, E, A)
Explore major and minor scales (1 octave)
Practice basic strumming patterns and chord transitions
Play simple melodies and basic songs
Focus on rhythm and coordination exercises
Grades Covered: Inital and Grade 1

INTERMEDIATE

Objective: To expand technique, learn more complex chord progressions, and build a versatile repertoire.

Learn scales and arpeggios in all 12 keys
Develop advanced strumming and fingerpicking techniques
Introduction to barre chords, chord inversions, and modes
Start applying ear training and improvisation
Build repertoire with folk, pop, and rock songs
Grades Covered: Grade 2 to Grade 5

Objective: To master expressive techniques, advanced theory, and performance skills.

Study advanced scales and modes (harmonic minor, jazz minor)
Master extended chords, arpeggios, and dynamic control

Perform complex repertoire in multiple genres
