INTERMEDIATE

Objective: To refine strumming and fingerpicking techniques, and expand musical vocabulary.

• Learn scales and triads in multiple positions

• Practice barre chords and fingerpicking patterns

• Explore modes and chord progressions

• Improve rhythmic skills with syncopation and swing feel

• Expand repertoire with reggae, pop, and traditional tunes

• Grades Covered: Grade 2 to Grade 5

ADVANCED

Objective: To master advanced techniques, composition, and performance skills for ukulele.

• Study advanced chords (7th, extended, diminished)

• Master fingerstyle, harmonics, and solo arrangements

• Explore improvisation and composition with the ukulele

• Dive into jazz, blues, and Latin rhythms

• Perform complex pieces and develop stage presence

• Grades Covered: Grade 6 to Grade 8

ADULT PROGRAMME

Objective: To empower adults with a joyful and structured approach to playing the ukulele, emphasizing music literacy, versatility, and creative growth.

• Understanding tuning, finger positions, and posture

• Chord vocabulary and progression fluency

• Strumming styles and rhythm patterns

• Introduction to fingerpicking and melodic playing

• Repertoire across folk, pop, jazz, and traditional styles

• Reading tabs, chord charts, and basic notation

• Optional songwriting and composition work

LEISURE PROGRAMME

Objective: To cultivate personal joy through ukulele playing in a relaxed, song-based, and explorative manner.

• Playing familiar songs using simple chords

• Strumming for relaxation and sing-alongs

• Light fingerpicking patterns

• Exploring genres like island, jazz-pop, and classic hits

• Fun duet or group play settings

• Learning with freedom, no performance stress
